Lester Boyd Bunk Bosserman 83, husband of Anna Lee (Hamilton) Bosserman of 1300 Jerusalem Chapel Road, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Bosserman was born in Augusta County on October 14, 1930, a son of the late Charles Luther and Lena Margaret (Perry) Bosserman.

Lester retired from William Edwards Trucking Company in 1992 as a truck driver and previously drove for Boward Trucking Company. He loved gardening and was an avid mushroom hunter.

Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-one years, are two sons, Bradford B. Bosserman and wife Stephanie Marie of Crozet, and Jerry P. Bosserman and wife Barbara of Berryville; three daughters, Brenda E. Patterson of Sherando, Linda B. Hahn of Stuarts Draft and husband Ronald of Afton, and Shirley C. Nicholes of Waynesboro; two step-sons, Ronald Lee Coon and wife Shelly of Charleston, WVa, and Rodger D. Coon and wife Denise of Churchville; one step-daughter, Linda S. Bartley of Staunton; a sister, Lillie Mae Smith of Churchville; ten grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, and the residence at other times.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Jerusalem Chapel Church by Pastor Denny Sites and Matt Hann.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Dennis Robertson, Butch Nulty, Harold Carwell, Andrew McDorman, Ryan Coon, Andrew Bartley, Timothy Bartley, and Glenn Skelton.
