Leonard Lee Bowman's Obituary
Leonard Lee Bowman, 83, husband of Lula Bowman, of 157 Quicks Mill Road passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Envoy of Staunton.
Mr. Bowman was born on July 14, 1931 in Shenandoah County, Virginia a son of the late Roy and Dora Frances (Silvious) Bowman.
Leonard retired from Loudoun Milk Transfer Company in 1994 with over twenty years of service as a truck driver and while his health allowed, Mr. Bowman enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by two brothers.
He is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 62 years, are two sons; Gary Lee Bowman of Luray and Ronald E. Bowman and his wife Cindy of Herndon, Virginia; a daughter, Linda L. Anderson of Crimora; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Services will be private with burial in the Fort Valley Cemetery.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
