Leola L. Engle

Leola Marie (Landrine) Engle, 78, wife of Eugene McClellan Engle, went to heaven on Friday evening, (July 10, 2009) at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
She was born December 1, 1930, in Hackensack, NJ, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Demarest) Landrine.
Mrs. Engle graduated from Hood College in Frederick, MD in 1952 and was a retired school teacher from Hackettstown Public School System in New Jersey, teaching Special Education.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, family members include a daughter, Donna Lee (Engle) Hart and her husband, Ben of Churchville; a son, Wayne Eugene Engle and his wife, Marilyn of State College, PA; three grandsons, Jebb McClellan and Cody Lee Hart, and Casey Wayne Engle; and Cubby, their loving pet dog.
Services for Mrs. Engle were private and conducted in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Joseph C. Brandon.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory has assisted the family with her arrangements.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Churchville Rescue Squad and the staff of Augusta Health.
At the request of the family, there will be no receiving of friends at the residence.
