Leann Lackey, 49, of Baylor Street, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at her residence.

Ms. Lackey was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on October 18, 1975, a daughter of the late Richard Lee and Rita (Irwin) Long.

Leann was a member of Cornerstone Church of Augusta. She enjoyed all sports, especially football and baseball. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Washington Nationals fan. She enjoyed attending her son's sporting events where he played for Stuarts Draft High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Petty.

Surviving are two sons, Nathan Allan Wayne of Stuarts Draft and Ryan Isaac Wayne of Verona; fiancé, Bryce Edward Lindley of Staunton; a brother, Richard Long of Bent Mountain; and two sisters, Dede Ott and Shawn Straight, both of Texas.

Services will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
