LaWanda Lynn Bazzrea, 48, daughter of Rudolph C. Bazzrea and Wanda Leigh (Jackson) Bazzrea, of Craigsville, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on April 29, 1975 in Staunton Virginia.

LaWanda enjoyed reality TV shows, 80's rock music, long mountain rides, cookouts and spending time with family and friends.

LaWanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wine "Ham" and Daisy (Goff) Bazzrea; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Birtie (Carroll) Jackson; a sister, Sherry Morris; uncle and aunt, Charles T Bazzrea and Shirley (Stuples) Bazzrea; and her late husband, Clint Carter.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two daughters, Alexandra Nicole Bazzrea and Starla Leighann Bazzrea; their fathers, Edward L. Nelson & Jason Burke; a sister, Rhonda Kay (Frost) Riley and her husband, Ronnie Lee Riley; a niece, Stephanie Dawn and her husband, Travis Knott; a nephew, Aaron Lloyd Riley and his fiancé, Destiny Wilhelm; three great-nieces, Kailey Madison, Lydia Addison, and Adalynn Elizabeth Knott; a very special cousin, Brenda Snell; her canine son, "Biscuit"; and many special friends.

Per her request, there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
