Larry Wayne Johnson, 72, husband of Brenda Dianne (Fridley) Johnson, of Vance Lane, Stuarts Draft, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mr. Johnson was born in Augusta County, Virginia on August 13, 1947, biological son of the late Lillian Miller and adopted parents Taze and Bessie (Woods) Johnson.

Larry was employed by Fisher Auto Parts as a delivery driver.

Surviving in addition to his wife of sixteen years is a step-daughter, Teresa Lambert of Crimora; a step-son, Tommy Lambert of Rhodesville, Virginia; a brother, Randy Miller of Northern Virginia; a sister, Sharon Elliott of Richmond; an adopted sister, Debbie Tankesley; four step-grandchildren, Kimberly Lambert, Heather Huffman, Stephanie Huffman, and Lisa Huffman; seven step-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Martha Ann Campbell, Tony Campbell, Tommy Campbell, Tammy Stevens, Tucker Fretwell, and Tobi Helmick.

A Memorial gathering will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 3:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. at the Staunton Moose Lodge #1635. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
