Obituary

Kimberly Michele (Nestor) Kim Lambert, 47, wife of Edward J. Eddie Lambert of 109 Lebanon Church Road passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Augusta Health in Fishersville following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Mrs. Lambert was born October 23, 1965, in Fairmont, West Virginia, a daughter of Buddy Wade and MaryLou (Zickefoose) Nestor.

Kim was an active member of Vision of Hope United Methodist Church in Harrisonburg and a graduate of Fort Defiance High School class of 1984. She was co-owner and office manager of Lambert Plumbing and Heating and was a member of Boy Scouts of America Verona Troop #121. Kim enjoyed traveling, Longaberger Basket collecting, spending time with her family and was very active in Relay for Life.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband of 27 years are two sons, Jason Edward Lambert and his wife Brittany of Verona and Bryan Jay Lambert and his wife Stephanie of Staunton; two grandchildren, Dalton Matthew Lambert and Carter William Hartsook; a brother, Chad M. Nestor and his wife Renee of Verona; a sister, Sheryl N. Green and her husband Dudley of Staunton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Myrtle Lambert of Staunton; a brother-in-law, Greg Lambert and his wife Amy of Staunton; a great-great Aunt, Leo Henlin; a special friend Meg Shrader and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

A Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in Vision of Hope United Methodist Church, 1723 Port Republic Road, Harrisonburg, by Pastor David Burch.

Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

Active pallbearers will be her brother, Chad Nestor, Greg Lambert, Dudley Green, Brett Shrader, Sean Baber and Tony Bolyard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Thompson, Dr. Patrick Judson and Dr. James Boyer.

The family offers a special thank you to the Hospice of the Shenandoah.
