Kim Darlene (Harder) Schutz, 65, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Kim was born in Rochester, New York on August 18, 1957, a daughter of the late Charlotte (Hunter) Harder Domm. She spent most of her life in Staunton, VA surrounded by many friends and those she welcomed into her family.

Kim was a former employee of both the Paul Obaugh Ford and Charlie Obaugh Auto Groups.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by a son, Steven Schutz, Sr., and six brothers and sisters.

She is survived by many treasured family members, including, her three daughters; Jennifer (Terry) Kraus of Aiken, SC, Kelsey (fiancé Jackie Chapman) Schutz of McKenney, VA and Linda (Michael) Massey of Mississippi; a son, Jacy (Jenni) Knapp of Indiana; three brothers, Dwight (Pemba) Harder, Lee Harder and Charlie Harder; four sisters, Sheila Rennoldson, Sherry (Dan) Pelcher, Dianne (Purly) Wilkinson, and C. Marie (Wayne) Lincoln; thirteen grandchildren, Steven Schutz, Jr. of Waynesboro, VA, Natalya Kraus, Gabrielle Knapp, Jacy Lynn Knapp, Gracie Knapp, Michael Massey Jr., Tabitha Massey, Sarah Massey; and four great-grandchildren, Steven L. Schutz, III, Payton Schutz, Kimberly Fretwell, and Skylar Fretwell.

Services will be held privately.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
