Kenzie Conner 16, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Kenzie was born in Roanoke, Virginia on June 4, 2007, a daughter of J.R. and Shannon Conner.

Kenzie had a fire and was "A force to be reckoned with". She was very protective of her family and those she loved and enjoyed music and dancing in the rain. Kenzie loved all animals, kayaking, fishing, and riding dirt-bikes with her friends. As a child, she played Little League football and softball. Kenzie was compassionate, caring and her goal was to make people smile and laugh.

If you knew Kenzie, you knew she was a caring, special teen who enjoyed making others smile and laugh, with a desire in her heart to help anyone who needed a hand and was hurting.

Surviving, in addition to her parents of Stuarts Draft, is Kenzie's twin sister, Madison; maternal grandparents, Tim and Pat Toner; paternal grandfather, Jim Conner; a special aunt, Marji Duncan; Heather Scarfo and Colleen Gathers and numerous other aunts, uncles and many cousins including Kayla Sommers, Serena Sommers, Hunter Hulvey and Spencer Hulvey; honorary grandfather, Donnie Puckett; close friend, Karmen Morales; special friend, Nicholas Hurtado; and her adoptive family, Kaylan Howery, Pierce Tanner, and Ethan Varner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Fishersville by Pastor Jim Lundy.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
