Kenneth "Kendogg" Waitier, 42, husband of Jeanetta (Corbin) Waitier of Stuarts Draft, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Waitier was born on January 12, 1976 in Staunton, a son of William Albert Waitier and Josephine (Ryder) Monroe.
Kenny was employed by E\u0026E Plumbing and Heating for twenty-one years. He greatly respected and loved his boss, John Rorrer. Kenny enjoyed watching ESPN Sports Center and loved the Tennessee Titans and the North Carolina Tar Heels. He enjoyed playing golf, and watching cartoons on Saturday morning, especially Spiderman. He liked building things, going to Smith Mountain Lake, building fires, and grilling everything, including "Twinkies".
Mr. Waitier was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Theresa Thompson, an uncle, Bobby Waitier, and mother-in-law, Valerie Staton-Bickley.
Surviving in addition to his wife and his parents; are three children, Alex Kenneth Waitier of Staunton, Alyssa Nicole Boehm, and Joshua Brandon Waitier both of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Allen Waitier of Staunton; a sister, Billie Sue Waitier of Staunton; aunts, Linda Baker and husband Gary of Verona and Loretta Grimm and husband Dennis of Staunton; cousins, Greg Baker of Staunton, Carrie Willis and husband Phillip of Lyndhurst, B.J. Waitier and Ginia Waitier both of Staunton; father-in-law, Joseph Wayne Corbin of Alabama; a sister-in-law, Stephanie Powell of Alabama; a number of nieces and nephews; best friends, Shane and Jen Fitzgerald and Chancy Blackwell; and his canine friends, "Titan" and "Ollie".
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Rev. Debbie Conover.
