Kenneth "Scott" Miller, 59, husband of Tamela (Greene) Miller of Deerfield Valley Road in Deerfield, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Miller was born on October 23, 1962 in Staunton, a son of the late Arleigh Kenneth and Linda Ann (Ashby) Miller.

Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Helicopter mechanic and a welder. "Scott" was employed with Perdue Farms in Bridgewater as a Quality Control Officer.  He enjoyed woodworking, coaching AYSO soccer and was a former volunteer with Deerfield Valley Volunteer Rescue as an EMT.

Surviving in addition to his wife of four years is a son, Daryl Miller and his wife Lindsey of Staunton; two step-sons, Billy Greene and his wife Kimberly of Orange and Morgan Pritt of Deerfield; two step-daughters, Beth Boswell and her husband Adam and Samantha Payton and her husband Jason both of Orange; a sister, Stacey Miller of Charleston, SC; thirteen grandchildren also survive.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2022 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend William "Bill" Trice.

The family will receive friends following the service.
