"K. Rex" Greaver

Kenneth Rex "K. Rex" Greaver, 89, husband of Joyce Elizabeth (Brown) Greaver of Staunton, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his residence.
Mr. Greaver was born in Staunton, Virginia on May 16, 1936, a son of the late Kenneth Bradford Greaver and Myra Virginia (Cash) Greaver Kincaid.
Rex was self-employed as a tax consultant for over 60 years and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Fraternal Order of the Eagles #680, Staunton Moose 1635, Staunton Virginia Elks 351, and the American Legion Post 13. He enjoyed playing golf and cards, and he especially loved watching his great-grandson, Levi, play baseball and cheering for the Staunton Braves.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 71 years is a son, Roland "Dale" Greaver and his wife, Lindy (Gayhart) Greaver of Waynesboro; a grandson, Matthew Dale Greaver (Katie Nogra); a great-grandson, Levi Dale Greaver; and two sisters, Doris (Greaver) Goode of Staunton and Linda Greaver of Christiansburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Christ United Methodist Church by Rev. Brett Isernhagen.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Zach Sowers, Patrick DiFlorio, David Cash, Brady Kirby, Jimmy Meyers, Donnie Baker, and Ben Baker.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Fraternal Order of the Eagles #680 and cousins of the Cash family.
It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to Christ United Methodist Church c/o Memorial Fund, 1512 Churchville Ave., Staunton, VA 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
