Kathy Jo (Brooks) Davis, 47, wife of Greg E. Davis of 133
Bowmans Run Drive passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Davis was born in Waynesboro on March 17, 1965, a daughter of Garnett Sidney and Mary Frances (Hall) Brooks.
Kathy was a member of Destiny Family Center and was employed as the office manager for Eavers Brothers Excavating Inc. for over eighteen years. She enjoyed spending peaceful time by the pool with her family, shopping and reading her Bible.
Known as a giving, caring and selfless wife, mother and friend.
In addition to her parents of Stuarts Draft and husband of twenty-two years, Kathy is survived by a son, Chris L. Carter and wife Erin of Sherando; a daughter, Ashley N. Davis at home; a brother, Doug W. Brooks, Sr. and his wife Amy and a sister, Faye (Brooks) Benavitch all of Stuarts Draft; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ted E. and Shelby O. Davis of Waynesboro and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Calvary United Methodist Church by Pastor Chuck Balsamo.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
Active pallbearers will be her brother, Doug W. Brooks, Sr., Doug W. Brooks, Jr., Dustin Brooks, Nick Wasiewski, Jason Begeman and Luke Brintzenhofe.
Honorary pallbearers will be co-workers of Eavers Brothers
Excavating.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
