Kathleen Neff Phillips, 89, widow of Thomas Morrison Phillips, of Deerfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Phillips was born in Warm Springs, Virginia on August 16, 1932, a daughter of the late Curtis Gwin Neff and Ruth (Dilley) Neff.

Kathleen was a member of Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church. She will be remembered as a beloved mother who was always there for her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Campbell.

Surviving, are two sons, Douglas Phillips of Deerfield, Virginia and Donald Phillips (Smorn) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; a daughter, Debra Gamble (David) of Phenix City, Alabama; a brother, Raymond "Buster" Neff; five grandchildren, Gritsana Scott, Janjira Altman, Christopher Stevens (Brandi), Leslie Stevens, and Shannon Miller (Carl); eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church by Reverend Bobby Spurgeon.

Inurnment will be private in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church, 567 Marble Valley Road, Deerfield, Virginia 24432.
