Karl A. Craig
STAUNTON:
Karl Alan Craig, 50, husband of Cynthia Ann (Chittum)
Craig of 249 Howardsville Road passed away Wednesday,
March 14, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Craig was born February 8, 1962 in Norwich, England a son of Bernadette Marie (Ward) Craig.
Karl was employed by Rowes Family Restaurant for twenty-five years as the kitchen supervisor. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School class of 1980, he enjoyed reading, was a history buff of the United States and English Militaries, enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his mother Bernie and wife of seventeen years is a son, John C. Harris and his wife, Robyn of Staunton; a daughter, Stephanie (Harris) Mass and her husband, Abdiel of Middlebrook; two brothers, Darrin L. Craig and his wife, Kathy of Ventura, CA and Michael F. Craig and his wife, Ann Marie of Fort Defiance; a sister, Helen Marie Smith and her husband, Elton of Orskany Falls, NY; two grandchildren, Beyonce Mass and Mykah Mass who called him, Papa Dog mother and father-in-law, Juanita and Stanley Chittum of Middlebrook; two nieces, Makenzy Smith and Britany Craig; three nephews, Tanner Smith, Cody Craig and Tyler Craig and a number of aunts, uncles and many cousins also survive.
A memorial service will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Glenn Hughes and Merle Dodson.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Burial will be private.
