Karen Lynn (Stuples) Strickler, 59, wife of Russell Clyde "Pete" Strickler, Jr., of Craigsville, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mrs. Strickler was born in Staunton, Virginia on January 28, 1965, the daughter of Richard Basil Stuples and the late Nancy Lee (Martin) Stuples.
Karen enjoyed fishing, camping, antiques, and going to yard sales.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Strickler was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph L. "Fuzzy" Stuples; and a sister-in-law, Sandy Stuples.
Surviving, in addition to her father and husband of Craigsville, is a son; Russell Clyde Strickler, III of Craigsville; four daughters, Jessica Lynn Hinkle and her husband, Jason, Sr. of Goshen, Nicole Lynn Balser and her husband, Johnathon, Angela Lynn Wiles and her husband, Matthew, and Phatrisha Lynn Strickler all of Craigsville; two brothers, William "Rick" Stuples and his wife, Cathy of Brownsburg and Stanley A. Stuples of Goshen; five grandchildren, Julianna Hinkle, Jason Hinkle, Jr., Alyssa Craig, Dawson Balser, and Emma Wiles; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024 in Little River Church of the Brethren Cemetery by Pastor Lewis Knight.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
