Karen Faye (Baker) Jones, 54, wife of Tommy E. Jones of 1701 Springhill Road passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at her residence.
Karen was born July 18, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter Frances (Sprouse) and William Jones of Craigsville and Russell and Mary Baker of Baltimore, MD.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker, a devoted mother and grandmother. She was dearly loved by her family and will be sadly missed by all.
Karen was preceded in death by a son, Joshuia Jones; two sisters, Lisa Baker and Dawn Baker; and nephew, Charles Clifton, II.
In addition to her husband Tommy of thirty-seven years, Karen is survived by a son, Jeramia W. Jones and wife Julie, of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Keri B. Jones of Goshen; two brothers, Rusty Baker of Ohio and Billy Baker of Craigsville; four sisters, Brenda Clifton and Teresa Gregory, both of Craigsville, Robin Mitchell and husband Wesley of Luray and Mary Lee Baker of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Audrey R. Ingram, Elijah N. Jones and Jacob W. Jones; mother-in-law, Grace Morris of Verona; uncle, Pete Baker of Haver DeGrace, MD; an Aunt, Loise Gardner of Craigsville and a number of Nieces and Nephews whom all called her Aunt Hoot.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday,
February 4, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral services will be private.
It is suggested that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Road, Memphis, TN 38105.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
