Karen R. Jackson
Karen Renea Jackson, 50, of 837 Paul Street, passed away Tuesday, (July 14, 2009) in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Karen was born on May 2, 1959 a daughter of Aubrey Burnett, Jr. and Betty (Ballengee) Jackson.
Miss Jackson was a member of St.Pauls United Methodist Church and resided at Greenstone in Lyndhurst and most recently at Envoy in Staunton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark A. Jackson; paternal grandparents, Aubrey B., Sr and Margaret (Hartman) Jackson; maternal grandparents Elmer and Maude Ballengee; two Aunts, Charlotte Harlow and her husband Austin and Hilda Huntley and her husband Tommy and an Uncle James Fry.
Surviving in addition to her parents are three uncles, Charles Edwin Eddie Jackson and his wife Dorothy Dot of Crimora; James Franklin Jimmy Jackson of Staunton and Charles Ballengee and his wife Phyllis of Staunton; an Aunt, Mildred Fry of Staunton; a number of cousins and a very special and close friend, nurse, and care giver Ms. Jill Shifflett.
A service celebrating Karens life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2009 in St. Pauls United Methodist Church by the Revs. G. Jeffrey Allen and J. Wade Munford.
A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday (July 20, 2009) in the Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home or at the home of her parents at other times.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of her arrangements.
