Karen Sue Harris's Obituary
Karen Sue (Smith) Harris, 53, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her residence.
Karen was born October 13, 1960 in Staunton, a daughter of Edgar P. Corky Smith, Jr. and the late Louise (Humphreys) Smith.
Mrs. Harris was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church. She was employed with Walmart as a sales associate.
Surviving, in addition to her father, is a son, Jeremy Shifflett of Staunton; two daughters, Melissa Pettry and her husband Joshua and Tiffany Patterson and her husband Charlston all of Stuarts Draft; one brother, Edgar P. Eddie Smith III of Staunton; three grandchildren, Patrick Sims, Blake Martin and Charlston Patterson, Jr. also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Wade Munford.
The family will receive friends following the service.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, P.O. Box 937, Contributions, Verona, VA 24482.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
