Karen L. Gorton

VERONA:

Karen Lee (Pecor) Gorton, 58, widow of Keith Robert Gorton of 58 Rolla Mill Road passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Gorton was born in Burlington, VT on April 3, 1954, a daughter of the late Donald and Wilma Ann (Hall) Pecor.
Mrs. Gorton was of the Methodist Faith and a homemaker. She was a loving and caring sister and loved her family and cared about all those she would meet.
In addition to her parents and the love of her life her husband, Keith, Mrs. Gorton was preceded in death by a son, Gary Nims.
Surviving is a daughter, Keithann Gorton of San Antonio, TX; four brothers, Donald Skip Pecor and his wife Marsha of Lake Luzerne, NY, Randy Pecor and his wife Sheila of Hudson Falls, NY, Gary Pecor of Glens Falls, NY and Chris McClaren of Lake Luzerne, NY; three sisters, Cheryl Lemery and her husband Ron of Verona, Linda (Pecor) Alakwskina and Linda McClaren both of Lake Luzerne, NY and two grandsons, Austin and Tyler also survive.
A Memorial service will be conducted in New York at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
