Juliette Cenivene (Shallcross) Thomas, 67, wife of George Wayne Thomas, of Staunton, Virginia passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Thomas was born in San Francisco, California on April 24, 1958 a daughter of the late Kenneth Shallcross and Cenivene Louise (Fagen) Shallcross.

Juliette was a devoted and active member of Mt. Pisgah Church, where she faithfully served as choir director for over 27 years. She was also a proud member of the Waynesboro Chapter 105 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Juliette had a love for the arts and creativity — she enjoyed painting, sewing, gardening, home renovation projects, and swimming.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 47 years, is a son, Kenneth Adam Thomas of Waynesboro; two daughters, Jennifer Leigh Thomas of Mt. Jackson and Elizabeth Ashley Thomas of Staunton; and a sister, Josette Lynette Hollingsworth and her husband, Scott of Longview, Washington.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Mt. Pisgah Church.
