Julian Lee Parrott, 26, of 252 Lancaster Avenue, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Staunton.
Julian was born on February 22, 1988 in Charlottesville, a son of Mary Elizabeth (Fulton) Lizzie Parrott and the late Walter Lee Parrott.
Julian was a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School class of 2006. He was a member of Holy Cross Presbyterian Church and the Staunton Lions Club. Julian was a collector of fish and boats. He enjoyed music, playing video games, visiting state parks and being outdoors. Julian was an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team and the Staunton Braves baseball team. Julian was known by his family to always have the need for his own hairspray.
In addition to his father, Julian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Mary Parrott.
Surviving in addition to his mother and her friend, Edgar Page Finch, Jr. is a brother, Jack Russell Parrott all of Staunton; maternal grandparents, Jack and Suzanne Fulton of Charlottesville; three aunts, Nancy F. Peyton and husband Daniel of Waynesboro, Suzanne F. Flach and husband John of Chesapeake, VA and Laura F. Renkes and husband Steve of Chantilly; an uncle, Mike J. Fulton and wife Angie of Charlottesville; numerous cousins and a host of friends around the city of Staunton.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014 in the R.E. Lee High School Auditorium by Rev. Rick Gilmartin.
The family will receive friends following the service.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Shenandoah Valley Animal Services, 1001 Mt. Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, VA 22952.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive is in charge of his arrangements.
