Judy Dell Meek's Obituary
Judy Dell (Hanger) Meek, 75, wife of Ray C. Meek of 103 Morris Mill Road, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Meek was born on January 12, 1942 in Augusta County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Robert F. and Frances (Cook) Hanger.
Judy was a lifelong member of the Westview United Methodist Church, she enjoyed gardening, and working in the flower beds and watching the flowers grow. She was a loving wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Meek was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Dale Meek.
Surviving in addition to her husband of fifty-four years, is a son, Dr. Gregory S. Meek of Winter Park, Florida; a sister, Shirley Peterson and her husband Craig of Staunton; and two nephews, Matthew and Allen Peterson.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in the Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Rev. David Coffey.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church Food Bank, 1614 West Beverley Street, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
