Judy (Dobzeniecki) McVey, 54, wife of Allen McVey of 115 Mulberry Street passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Envoy of Staunton.
Mrs. McVey was born December 14, 1956 in Long Island, NY, a daughter of the late Adam Paul and Helen Barbara (Gurney) Dobzeniecki.
Judy was a Cafeteria Manger for August County School System. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Adam Paul Dobzeniecki, Jr. and a sister, Barbara Balsamo.
Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son, Theodore Henry Teddy McVey; a step-son Dennis McVey and his wife Linda all of Staunton; a step-daughter Donna McVey of Crimora; three sisters, Susan Susie Dobzeniecki of Long Island, NY, Sherry L. Briggs and her husband Joe of Staunton and Kim Corella and her husband Mike of Portage, ME; a special sister-in-law, Jodi Dobzeniecki of Mt. Sidney and a brother-in-law, Chuck Balsamo of Waynesboro and three grandchildren, Destiny McVey, Denas McVey and Alana McVey and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, in the Destiny Family Center in Stuarts Draft, by Pastor Chuck Balsamo.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, in Coffman Funeral Home \u0026 Crematory and other times at her residence or the residence of her sister, Sherry L. Briggs, 907 Reaper Road in Staunton.
Active pallbearers will be Teddy McVey, Michael Corella, Mark Corella, Jim Briggs, A.J. Dobzeniecki and Dennis McVey.
