Judith Mary "Judy" (Fridley) Lambert, 79, widow of Billy Alexander "Budweiser" Lambert, of Staunton, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville.
She was born in Craigsville, Virginia on April 27, 1943, a daughter of the late Ernest Hankins and Mary (McGraw) Fridley.
Judy was a member of Fishersville United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She retired from First Virginia Bank of Augusta and later was employed by the Kitch'n-Cook'd Potato Chip Company. Judy enjoyed watching baseball and loved her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Fridley and a sister, Shirley Ann (Fridley) Hildebrand.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Wayne "Mickey" Lambert of Chesapeake and Charles Alexander "Chad" Lambert of Staunton; five grandchildren, Neal Austin Lambert and his wife, Jessica, Jordan McGraw Lambert, Grace Elizabeth Fisher, Quinn Judith Lambert, and Emma Alexandria Lambert; a great-grandson, Declan Alexander Lambert; special niece, Daphne Pittman; special nephews, Roger Lambert, Bobby Hildebrand, Brian Shifflett, Jason Shifflett and Anita Shifflett; a number of other nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Boyd Lambert and a sister-in-law, Mary Shifflett Lambert; and extended family, David Shifflett and his wife, Sandy, Kenneth Shifflett and his wife, Faye, and Jimmy Marcum.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Oaklawn Memory Gardens by Chaplain Matthew Atlee.
Active pallbearers will be Chad Lambert, Austin Lambert, Kenner Smith, Danny Burnett, Louis Armstrong, and Chris Snyder.
