Juanita Z. Wolfe
CRAIGSVILLE
Juanita Cicil (Zimmerman) Wolfe, widow of N. Earl Wolfe formerly of 72 Chestnut Street, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the Shenandoah Hospice House in Fishersville.
Mrs. Wolfe was born October 26, 1916 on Walkers Creek, the daughter of the late David H. and Mattie J. (Wiseman) Zimmerman.
Juanita was co-manager of the Craig Theater and the Craig Drive-In Theater in Craigsville for many years. She was assistant shipping clerk at Lehigh Portland Cement Company, served as town clerk for the town of Craigsville and was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Wolfe was known as an amazing seamstress, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting and was a wonderful home maker, mother, grandmother and friend.
In addition to her husband of 67 years and her parents, Mrs. Wolfe was preceded in death by her brother, Jacob Earl Zimmerman.
Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, David H. and his wife Wanda (Smith) Wolfe of Fishersville; two grandsons and their wives, David H. Wolfe, Jr. and Lavonna of Fishersville and Todd Wolfe and Nancy of Staunton; four great granddaughters, Megan Robertson, Cheyenne Wolfe, Taylor Wolfe and Jessica Wolfe and two great-great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Landon Robertson also survive.
A Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor Lynwood Wilkes.
The family will receive friends at the residence of David and Wanda Wolfe, 107 Hickory Hill Lane, Fishersville at any time.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah, 111 North Campus Lane, Fishersville, VA 22939.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
