Joseph Anthony "Joe" Colvin, 50, of Spring Crest Lane in Staunton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mr. Colvin was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on November 28, 1973, a son of Harold Burton Colvin, II and Susan Anna (Hottinger) Colvin.

Joe enjoyed talking on the phone and made over 2 million calls to his mother.

Mr. Colvin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold Burton Colvin, Sr. and June (Grogg) Colvin; and maternal grandfather, Leonard Hottinger.

Surviving, in addition to his parents of Waynesboro, are two brothers, Matthew Adam Colvin and his wife, Misty of Verona, and Derek Allen Colvin and his wife, Toni of Carrollton; a sister, Jennifer Nicole Rankin and her husband, Derrick of Fishersville; maternal grandmother, Dolores Hottinger of Bridgewater; nephews, Zachary, Owen, and Hudson; and nieces, Anna, Madison, Naomi, and Mackenzie.

A private memorial service will be held at Living Grace Ministries by Pastors Randall Black and Matthew Colvin.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
