Jon L. Gigliotti
Jon Louis Gigliotti, 66, husband of Tanya L. Gigliotti of 241 Back Creek Lane, passed away, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at his residence.Mr. Gigliotti was born December 31, 1946, in Mt. Vernon, NY, a son of John and Josephine Gigliotti.
Jon attended the Staunton Apostolic Church. He served his country as a Green Beret and spent most of his career in law enforcement. In 1990 he married Tanya in Del Ray Beach, FL while working as a deputy sheriff in Broward County. In 1995 Jon moved his family to Virginia to begin their ministry Restoration Ministries, serving the needs of the less fortunate in the Shenandoah Valley.
In addition to his wife of 23 years, he is survived by his children; Jessica Holvand and husband Jay of Phoenix, AZ with grandchildren, Martin and Sonya; Rachel Craig and husband Mike of Denver, CO with grandchildren D. L., Grace, Michael and Brandon; Jonathan Gigliotti of Phoenix, AZ, with grandchild Joshua; Jared Gigliotti of Phoenix, AZ; Emily Gigliotti of Lyndhurst; and a brother, Stephen Gigliotti of Stuarts Draft also survives.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July7, 2013 in White Hill Church of the Brethren by Pastor Michael Eastman.
Burial will be conducted on 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at Hampton Roads in Suffolk.
