Johnnie Jennings Hinkle, 78, husband of Grace (Bickel) Hinkle, of Verona passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Hinkle was born February 1, 1934 in Circleville, WV, a son of the late Roscoe Hinkle and Elsie Sponaugle.
Mr. Hinkle was a charter member of the Staunton Apostolic United Pentecostal Church and an honorary member of the Churchs Board. He was a retired welder with McQuay International.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, survivors include two daughters Deborah Lockhart of Verona and Joy Jones of Fishersville; a special aunt Idelta Lambert and husband Keith of Circleville, WV; a special uncle Roscoe Sponaugle and wife Phyllis of Greenwood; special friend Tony Kingsley of Fishersville and three grandchildren also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Cecil Hutching and Pastor Michael Eastman.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Middle River Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
