Rohrbaugh
October 24, 1940 – December 1, 2024
John L. Rohrbaugh, 84, widower of Gloria Jane (Griffin) Rohrbaugh, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with the Lord and his wife on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Rohrbaugh was born in Hardy County, West Virginia on October 24, 1940, a son of the late Jessie Orville Rohrbaugh and Eunice Mable (Foltz) Rohrbaugh.
John was a member of Stuarts Draft Christian Fellowship and enjoyed studying his Bible. He retired from Webster and Webster Fence Company after 23 years as a supervisor and later worked for Ritchie's AGRI Service. Mr. Rohrbaugh enjoyed woodworking and hunting.
In addition to his parents and wife of 53 years, Mr. Rohrbaugh was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn Davis.
Surviving, are two sons, Tracy L. "Butch" Rohrbaugh and his wife, Renee of Greenville and Walton D. Rohrbaugh of Stuarts Draft; two daughters, Teresa L. Davis and her husband, Louis of Waynesboro and Gina L. Cash and her husband, Richard of Crimora; a brother, Jeff S. Rohrbaugh and his wife, Cindy of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Carrie Davis, Kyle Cash and his wife, Brandi, Peyton Branch and her husband, Justin, and Casey Cash; three great-grandchildren, Spencer Quick, Owen Cash and Bo Hiner; a special niece, Jessica Roberts and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Stuarts Draft Christian Fellowship by Pastor Bruce Swartz.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service.
Active pallbearers will be Kyle Cash, Casey Cash, Sal Roughgarden, David Griffin, Mike Diehl, Wayne Gorden, and Dan Post.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Cullen, Bucky Fitzgerald, Justin Branch, Maynard Weaver, and Gerald Suter.
It is suggested that those desiring make memorial contributions to Stuarts Draft Christian Fellowship, 216 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.
The family would like to express a sincere "Thank you" to Dr. Marsh and the staff at Hospice of the Shenandoah for the care and compassion show to John and his family.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
