Obituary

John Lloyd Kelso, Jr., 60, of 42 Broadhead School Road passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his residence.
Mr. Kelso was born on July 2, 1955 in Staunton, a son of John Lloyd, Sr. and Betty Carlyle (Via) Kelso.
John retired in 1996 from Hollister, Inc. where he was employed as a mechanic for twenty-two years. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his hunting and fishing buddies. John would help anyone in need.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Stuarts Draft, are three daughters, Summer R. Piller and her husband David of Fishersville, Amber K. Wagner and her husband Mike of Verona and Faith A. Kelso of Stuarts Draft; a brother, Bruce W. Kelso and his wife Tanya of Waynesboro; a sister, Ellen K. Norcross and her husband John S. of Stuarts Draft; four grandchildren, Kendall Piller, Carley Piller, Avery Piller and Jackson Wagner; best friend and companion, Donna Campbell of Greenville and her two sons, John Ackelson and James Ackelson; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
In keeping with Johns wishes, there will be no services.
The family will receive friends anytime at the residence of his parents, 39 Sunset Drive, Stuarts Draft.
It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, 1800 South Delphine Avenue, Waynesboro, Virginia 22980.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
