Joanne Fay (Jacox) Lovelace, 81, widow of Ligon Rodgers Lovelace of

1419 Aintree Place passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Kings Daughters Community Nursing and Rehab.

Mrs. Lovelace was born on May 15, 1935 in California, a daughter of the late Floyd and Ethel (Click) Jacox.

Joanne was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they were her world. Joanne also enjoyed and was very fond of her pets.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in

death by a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Lovelace; brother, Donald C. Jacox; and two sisters, Margaret Vivian Zedler and Doris Slaughter.

Surviving is a son, Graham R. Lovelace of Wyoming; a daughter, Rebecca Dellinger and her husband William of Staunton; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Augusta Memorial Park.
