Jevana Day (Channell) Lingenfelter, 87, of Vinson Street, Staunton, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Envoy of Staunton.

Ms. Lingenfelter was born in Valley Head, West Virginia on May 14, 1935 a daughter to the late Cantor and Fanny Channell.

She was employed by Sunnyside Retirement Community.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Lingenfelter was preceded in death by three brothers, Brooks Channell, Gene Channell and Junior Channell and a sister, Nevada Pritts.

Surviving are four sons, Carl Lingenfelter, Jr., David H. Lingenfelter, Paul Lingenfelter and Greg Lingenfelter; three daughters, Karen Romandetti, Carolyn Sue Mayer, and Becky Shaulis; two brothers, Jennings Channell and Lowell Channell; a sister, Izetta Channell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At her request all services will be private.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
