Jessee Loyd Robinson, 25, of Glebe School Road, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 in Augusta County.
Mr. Robinson was born on November 24, 1989, in Staunton, a son of Rhonda Lee (Eckard) Robinson Law and the late Douglas Loyd Robinson.
Jessee was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was employed by Westwood Animal Hospital. Jessee was a living, walking, breathing miracle overcoming many obstacles in his life including a very strong and courageous battle with cancer. Jessee was a Survivor. He was an inspiration to everyone who knew him, and he never met a stranger. Jessee was a great father, brother, and son. He loved tinkering with vehicles, going four wheeling in his truck, and was known by his sister as Doctor Doolittle because of his love for animals.
In addition to his mother, Jessee is survived by his step-father, Richard P. Law of Stratham, New Hampshire; a son, Lucas G. Robinson and the mother of his son, Brittney Hensley; a sister, Amanda Lee Mandy Knapp and her husband Jeramie of Staunton; his maternal grandmother, Betty (Hicks) Drumheller of Staunton; paternal grandmother, Maxine (Rowe) Robinson of Staunton; a step-sister, Katherine Kate Law of Grundy; one niece, Natalle Knapp; one nephew, Nathan Knapp; a special cousin, Timothy Daniel Byrd of Charlottesville; special friend, Timmy Cote; and his family at Westwood Animal Hospital and Staunton - Augusta YMCA.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014, in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence of his sister, Mandy Knapp, 322 Campbell Street, Staunton.
A Celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014, in the Hebron Presbyterian Church by Pastor Janet Knott.
Burial will follow in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jeramie Knapp, Nathan Knapp, Timothy Byrd, Richard Law, Timmy Cote, Dr. John Wise, Rick Gregory, and Jeremy Shipe.
Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers at Westwood Animal Hospital and Staunton-Augusta YMCA.
At the familys requests, favorite memories or stories of Jessee may be shared during the service.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
