Jerry Lee Roadcap, 61, widower of Karen Lee (Hoover) Roadcap, of 4140 Spring Hill Road, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in Fishersville.
Mr. Roadcap was born on April 13, 1955 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, a son of Betty Jean (Sprinkle) Roadcap and the late Dwight Edward Roadcap.
Jerry was employed with Roadcaps Paving as a paver, and he enjoyed working on cars and going to tractor pulls.
In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Johnny Roadcap; and an uncle, D. Ray Roadcap.
Surviving in addition to his mother is a son, Brian Harner; a daughter, Vicki Hedrick; two sisters, Sandy Bailey and Darlene McCray; six grandchildren, Treavor Hedrick, Megan Hedrick, Colton Hedrick, Jordan Harner, Summer Harner and Tyler Harner; one expecting great-granddaughter; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Dennis Taylor and Pastor Don Mallory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the Shenandoah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Ray McCray, Chris Fauber, Buddy Bosserman, Dubby Griffin, Brian Howdyshell, Darby Helmick, Tony Rankin and William Rankin.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
