Jerry L. Marshall
CHURCHVILLE:
Jerry Lynn Mouse Marshall, 55, husband of Sharon (Michael) Marshall of 27 Crestone Lane passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.
Mr. Marshall was born June 12, 1956 in Augusta County, a son of L. Lynwood and Shirley (Sheffer) Marshall.
Jerry was a 1974 graduate from Stuarts Draft High School and was employed as the Installation Supervisor with Homestead Material Handling Company for thirty-three years. He was a member of the National Hog Group, Verona Moose and an honorary member of the Churchville Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Mouses favorite pastimes were when he rode his Harley and went salt-water fishing. Jerry was a friend to all even in death he was thinking of others for he was an organ donor so that others may live.
Surviving in addition to his wife of nineteen years and his parents of Churchville is a son, Christopher L. Marshall of Stuarts Draft; a step-son, Dustin A. Nuckoles of Churchville; a grandson, Lance C. Marshall; two brothers, Timmy B. Marshall and his wife Cindy of Staunton and Master Sgt. Sammy A. Marshall and his wife Annica of MD; an aunt and uncle, Darlene and Jamie Dorsey of Churchville; mother-in-law, Mary S. Michael of Churchville; brother-in-law Eddie Michael and his wife Frances of Mt. Solon; a number of cousins, nieces and a nephew; many special friends and co-workers and his pets Harley Davidson, Kasper Davis and Wiggles also survive.
A celebration of Jerrys life will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastors Denny Sites and Matt Hann.
The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Shirley S. Marshall, 15 Crestone Lane, Churchville. VA.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Churchville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 608 Churchville, VA 24421.
In keeping with Jerrys request casual attire for his service is appreciated.
Those wishing to participate in Mouses final motorcycle ride have been asked to gather at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory by 3:15 p.m. on Sunday prior to his service.
