Jerry Allen Colvin, 87, husband of Shirley L. Colvin, of 69 Oak Grove Church Road, Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Colvin was born in Craigsville, Virginia on October 25, 1935, a son of the late Arthur Edgar Colvin and Catherine Theda (Puckett) Colvin.

Jerry was a veteran of the United States Air Force, was employed as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Colvin was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel E. Colvin, Ronald A. Colvin, and Harold Colvin, Sr.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of six years, are two daughters, Kaitlin Colvin of Aberdeen, WA and Sarah Colvin of Olympia, WA; three sisters, Shirley Humphreys and her husband, Durwood, of Staunton, Janet Salmons, and Judy Via and her husband, Walter, all of West Point, VA; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Per Mr. Colvin's request, there will be no services.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
