Jerry Lynn Bowen, 67, of Verona, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Bowen was born in Staunton, Virginia on October 13, 1958, a son of Priscilla Anne (Baer) Bowen and the late Paul Richad Bowen.

Mr. Bowen was self-employed and co-owner of Pave Right Paving. Jerry enjoyed Blue Grass and Rock & Roll music.  He loved classic and fast cars.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Bowen is survived by his daughter, Jennifer M. Barnes and her husband Joshua of Horseheads, NY; two sisters, Vickie Kay Clausen and her husband Al and Karen Marie Earhart all of Verona; two grandchildren, Connor Barnes and Henry Barnes; a niece, A.J. Clausen; and a great nephew, Darian Andrew Clausen.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2026 in the Duck Run Cemetery, 1886 Windswept Lane, Penn Laird, Virginia by Rev. William Trice.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
