Jeremy Eugene Campbell, 36, husband of Melinda (Roberts)
Campbell of 94 Taylor Lane, Greenville passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in the University of Virginia Hospital.
Mr. Campbell was born November 25, 1974 in Waynesboro, a son of Judy Darlene (Fitzgerald) Campbell and the late Kenneth Lee Campbell.
In addition to his father, Jeremy was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Lee Campbell.
Jeremy attended Riverheads High School and was the owner/operator of C\u0026C Excavating.
Mr. Campbell enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and many friends.
In addition to his wife of nine years and his mother of Stuarts Draft, survivors include a son, Nathan R. Campbell and a daughter, Leanna N. Campbell both at home; paternal grandparents, Lee and Martha Campbell of Raphine; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Doris Fitzgerald of Stuarts Draft; father and mother-in-law, Lester and Betty Roberts and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends also survive.
A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Mt. Paran Baptist Church by Pastor Fred Salmons and Pastor Billy Coffey.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 in Coffman Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
Active pallbearers will be Bobby Fitzgerald, Tommy Fitzgerald, Pat Cash, Greg Roberts, David Bryant, Blain Campbell, Jr. and Cliff Simmons.
It is suggested that donations be made to the trust fund for Mr. Campbells children, c/o Teresa L. Weeks 4254 Cold Springs Road, Raphine, VA 24472.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
