Jeremy Alan Bowen, 44, husband of Genifer Blair (Key) Bowen, of 12 Coleytown Road, Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Mr. Bowen was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on June 28, 1979, the son of George Robert Bowen, Jr. and Tina Marie (Painter) Bowen.

Jeremy was a life-time member of Mountain View Full Gospel Church and Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, and was employed with Cadence, Inc. as a line-worker. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and more than anything, he loved his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Ann Bowen.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of a year, are four daughters, Arizona Hurt, Abagail Key, Emmarold Roberson, and Myla Bowen all of Waynesboro; a son, Jacob J. Key of Waynesboro; and his grandmother, Beverly Painter of Verona.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at their residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Mountain View Full Gospel Church by Pastor Scott Jewell.

Burial will follow in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Jacob Key, Michael Scott, Chad Filler, Eddie Homes, and C.W. Riddle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy's cousins.
