Jeffrey Garnet Jeff Simmons, 53, of Breezewood Drive, Staunton passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014, while working in Randolph County, WVA.
Mr. Simmons was born on June 23, 1961 in Staunton, a son of Loretta Ellen (Gutshall) Simmons.
Jeff was employed as a brick mason. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Staunton are two daughters, Carrie Jane Matheny of Clifton Forge and Cherokee Nicole Simmons of Afton; a brother, Gary Gutshall and his wife Beverly of Staunton; three sisters, Cheryl Love and her husband Dave of Mareitta, OH, Patsy Woodell and her husband Anthony of Asheboro, NC and Donna Nuckles of Chester, VA; three grandchildren; a special friend, Mike Agnor and his wife Robin of Staunton; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
All services will be private.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 42 Spring Crest Lane, Apt. 104 in Staunton.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
