Jeffery Eugene Martin, 48, of Howardsville Turnpike, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mr. Martin was born on September 29, 1969 in Staunton, a son of Larry Eugene Martin and Carolyn Ann (Batiste) Gillingham.
Jeffery was employed with Big "D" Dumpsters as a truck driver, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin L. Martin.
In addition to his father of Verona, and his mother of Virginia Beach, Jeffery is survived by a son, C. Dillon Martin; a daughter, Shyann S. Martin both of Stuarts Draft; step-father, David Gillingham of Virginia Beach; step-mother, Teresa Martin of Verona; a sister, Lorry Jean Lukes and her husband Jason of Virginia Beach; a step-brother, Chad E. Martin and his wife Melissa of Verona; two nephews, Dylan and Hayden Lukes; and a special friend, Lisa Simmons also survive.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.
