Jean Marie (DuBreucq) Koontz Martin, wife of Allen R. Martin of 4292 Morris Mill Road, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 in the Augusta Health in Fishersville.

Mrs. Martin was born on May 31, 1940 in Portage, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Francis and Martha (Mitchell) DuBreucq.

Jean was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church, proud owner / operator of Medics Choice Weight Loss Clinic for many years in Staunton, and she enjoyed gardening and cooking.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a son, David Lewis Koontz.

Surviving in addition to her husband of twenty-seven years, is a step-son, David A. Martin and his wife Margarita of Kansas City, Kansas; a step-daughter, Kelley C. Martin and spouse Stephanie of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; three step-grandchildren; three great step-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Ann B. Koontz of Staunton; two brothers, Robert DuBreucq and his wife Judy of Portage, Pennsylvania and Paul DuBreucq and wife Helen of Pearl River, New York; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.

In keeping with Mrs. Martin's wishes there will be no public services.
