Janet Faye Gutshall, 69, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.

Mrs. Gutshall was born in Alexandria, Virginia on April 9, 1954, a daughter of the late Connell Osbourne Gutshall and Mary Margaret (Stone).

Janet enjoyed fishing, camping, and sitting by the fire. She loved life and her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gutshall was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Kay Gutshall; three brothers, Robert Gutshall, Roger Dale Gutshall, and Charles Leon Stone; and a sister, Betsy Burns.

Surviving, are two brothers, Darryl Gutshall and Douglas Gutshall and his wife, Judy; three sisters, Paula Snead and her husband, Garry, Loretta Simmons, and JoAnne Elizabeth Mawyer; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is handling her arrangements.
