James Robert Hodge, 76, husband of Towanda Hodge of Frontier Ridge Court passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Kings Daughters Community Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Hodge was born January 20, 1940 in Bath County, a son of the late Aubrey and Dora (Jackson) Hodge.

Surviving in addition to his wife of seven years, is a daughter, Sheila Kay Hodge of Waynesboro; a son, Cyntonio Hodge of Staunton; two sisters, Cordia George and her husband Danny and JoAnn Stouffer all of Staunton; a brother, Charles Hodge of Staunton; a number of nieces, nephews and step-children; and a loving mother-in-law, Cindy Thompson also survive.

All services will be private.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of his arrangements.
