James Bruce Carbary, 57, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA following a heart attack and cardiac arrest at his home on January 17th.
Formerly a Maynard resident and 1970 graduate of Maynard High School, Jim moved his family to Virginia in 1980 where for 29 years he worked with Auto Trim Design. He was loved and respected among the automotive community he serviced.
Jim was married on March 31, 1973 and is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judith Elaine, his daughter Melanie Beth Whitlock and grandchildren, Alexander Dean and Tiffany Marie all from the Staunton, VA area. He is also survived by his parents, Charles and Caroline Carbary and his sister Lori Ballard who reside in Burnet, TX, his brother Randy Carbary of Marble Falls, TX, his sister, Cathy Woodward of Front Royal, VA and his brother, Paul Carbary of Stow, MA.
Jim has been one of Jehovahs Witnesses for 40 years and a Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Staunton, VA on Saturday, February 20th @ 2PM.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses on Springhill Road in Staunton, VA.
