Jacqueline Miller "Jackie" Ralston, 72, of Staunton, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her residence, with her family by her side.
Ms. Ralston was born in Staunton, Virginia on November 25, 1948, a daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Hulvey) Waggy.
Jackie retired from Western State Hospital where she was employed as Executive Assistant and was an instructor at the Staunton School of Cosmetology for over twenty years. Following retirement, she found joy in rescuing and caring for animals, especially her dogs, "Doodlebug", "Foxy", "Ida", "Sassy", and "Dakota". Jackie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Bright (Brad) and Debbie Robinson (Donta); three grandchildren, Sylar Whetzel, Corree Darcus, and Alayia Robinson, and one great-grandson, Zane Whetzel.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. Jackie's wish was to have her ashes spread high on the mountain.
Family and friends may visit anytime at the homes of her daughters, Teresa and/or Debbie.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
