Ivy was a very active member of the Summit Church of the Brethren in Bridgewater, she was on the altar committee and spent many hours decorating the church for the holidays and visiting the shut-ins. She was retired from Staunton Foods Inc. where she worked as an office secretary. Ivy lived life to the fullest and taught others to do the same. She enjoyed traveling throughout the world with her late husband Jim, and also loved sharing stories of her travels and life with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. During the many holidays Ivy took great pride in decorating the home and making sure others were full of spirit as well. One of her favorite things to do was prepare large meals for the many members of her family. She spent countless hours in the kitchen preparing for such events. Most of all Ivy carried a sense of humor throughout all of her days that couldn\u0027t go unnoticed when around her. This and her unrelenting love and care for her family filled her life with joy.
