Howard Wilson Harmon's Obituary
Howard Wilson Harmon, 61, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.
He was born November 26, 1950 in Staunton, a son of Katherine (Shover) Harmon and the late Wilson P. Harmon.
Mr. Harmon was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the 101st Airborne and retired from American Safety Razor in Verona.
In addition to his father, Howard was preceded in death by Scott Thomas and Bonnie Bulle.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is Becci Harmon and her husband, David Buell of Swoope; Ray Shover and his wife, Susan of Staunton and Jeff and Crystal Thomas of Verona; a beloved dog, Beau also survives.
A Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Golden C. Clark, Jr.
Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Staunton - Augusta VFW Post #2216, Post Office Box 2032, Staunton, Virginia 24402.
