Hilda (Jones) Craig, 70, wife of Roger L. Craig of Verona, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Mrs. Craig was born on January 9, 1955 in Cana, Virginia a daughter of the late Ida (Easter) Jones.

Hilda retired from Manheim Auto Auctions after many years of service. She was a loving wife and grandmother and she enjoyed farming, beekeeping, and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Jones and Buddy Jones; and a sister, Sadie Trivette.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 20 years is a son, Travis Templeton and his wife, Randa; a daughter, Ashley Anderson and her husband, James, all of Statesville, NC; two step-sons, Curtis Craig and his wife, Melissa of PA and Brian Craig and his wife Kim, of FL; six grandchildren, Izzy, Tripp, Mackenzie, Charles, Noah, and Natalie; and three step-grandchildren, Raven, Hailey, and Peyton.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William "Bill" Trice.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be private at a later date.

For friends and family that are local to the Statesville, NC area, the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Olin, NC, with a service being held at 3:00 p.m. by Pastor Byron Allison.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the loving care provided to Hilda, by Lena Wuerzberger, throughout her illness.
